Millennium Action for Tolerance: "Day of Tolerance" 2008

This is a solemn challenge to the world leaders and to the WORLD, as a whole, to make the "Day of Tolerance" become a reality, considering the understanding between people as another weapon against violence and terrorism.

Inspired by a Pre-Columbian concept, created in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico now under development by the Presidency of Mexico and the "Mexican Commission for Cooperation with the UNESCO" with the support of Puerto Vallarta City Hall, and the University of Guadalajara.

"This man size bronze sculpture will be made in a 12 piece edition dedicated to people who did and still suffer from persecution and discrimination.

"The wound that reinforces" or the "Monument for Tolerance" is dedicated to the entire human family.

The world is invited through the United Nations to enact "Day of Tolerance" erecting the 12 statues in most sensitive places around the world, called "Tolerance Space" and celebrating it once a year; exchanging groups of artists of different countries, ethnics and religions. Art and Culture is the antidote against ignorance, hatred, war and terror, and will break frontiers for improvement of the human condition".

Wine-Monument Project for California

From Paris to New York, from Florence to Tokyo, societies erect statues to honor the values they hold dearest in order to share them with the entire human race.

I propose a 90-foot monument to wine. It will overlook the vineyards, will comprise an upper level accessible with elevators, where wine-tastings can take place.

The atmosphere of the tasting area would be one of relaxed reflection and encourage meditation while viewing the landscape - for a higher wine experience.

The COSMICART committee submited this idea to California / Mexico.

In the COSMICART concept, the statue complex will include a museum, library, show and performance area for any artistic expession inspired or dedicated to wine.

Millennium project for Mexico and United Nations;

In order to contribute to so needed efforts of decentralization in Mexico, the Association Cosmicart is very honored to submit this project in state of Jalisco, the zone of Puerto Vallarta.

It's to develop activity in this region as much as to make the coming tourists aware that Mexico is not only "sea & sun" but that the great power of this land is its his Pre-Columbian culture the unique one, and probably the most fascinating of the planet.

Precisely, for the absence of ruins and pyramids in Jalisco, we will erect a city-center the most sophisticated of modern times and dedicated to the ancients creators of this country as well as to their today's heirs.

The aim is to make feel that the heart of:

Olmec, Huichol, Maya, Lacandon, Zapotec, Mixtec, Chichimec, Toltec, Aztec and others, is still beating.

The new TENOCHTITLAN will be a culture capital to all Indigenes of Americas and a

Patrimony of Humanity. Under UNESCO administration.

The ensemble will be a constellation of 5 complexes.

*1) Xochipilli Park God of spring, of love and arts; monumental sculptures incorporated into the natural surroundings and dealing with the Indians themes. In the center a platform-stage for multilateral art expression.

*2) Homage to Centeótltecuhtli Lord of Maize monument museum for the bread of America; culinary school, restaurant, classes and practicing of all arts in relation to America.

*3) Tlihua one of the Gods of drunkenness; Pyramid-museum, documentary center to the culture of wine. Forum-debates about art, pre- Columbia, cosmologies, etc. Studio for experimental cinematography.

*4) Macuilxochitl 5 flowers, the god of music, dance and joy, sensuality and festivity.

Acoustic-synthetic research, including live concerts and recordings.

*5) TEPULI TEOCALLI the phallic temple of Uxmal, its rehabilitation and reconstruction Marble-granite studios, bronze foundry. Experimentation of industrial materials in art.

Each complex will function in permanent exchange with creators of all countries.

The apex will be CEMANAHUAC YOLLOTLI the heart of unique world. Another definition of TENOCHTITLAN, the sacrificial altar to QUETZALCOATL and where according to his cult sacrifice of flowers and butterflies will take place. Experimental dance studio.

The final aim is the divulging of the meso American culture, to create jobs for tausends of Mexicans, thanks to a cultural tourism of planetary level.

THE COSMICART COMPLEX

COSMICART is a world out look. Its main aim is to apply art on all levels of life.

(There will also be an art shop proposing sculpture by-products (see below)) according to the site:

HOTEL / GYM / ORGANIC FOOD CENTER.

A space imbued with the awareness of infinite cosmic creation.

The ensemble will itself be a work of art, from the very architecture to the menu:

1) Its interior design will abolish the frontiers between multimedia art/entertainment, cuisine, dance, music electronic drawing-board, philosophers’ café, miscellaneous society-games, and will intend to inter-penetrate all forms of creation.

2) The interior installation will be inspired by my most recent work: a geometric marble assembly.

3) The music will vary from gypsy, salsa to techno blues, acoustic-synthetic research, including live concerts and recordings. Obviously, when world music is exhausted, timeless cosmicart music will take over.

4) The menu will offer dishes as different as they are creative (both ingredients and preparation): Mama’s kreplach bouillon,Sashimi-samourai-set , Zen vegetarian couscous, The duckling’s flight to Venus+secret fruits, Wild rice+civilized goulash, and Orange carob orgy.

5) The center will be a meeting place for artists and creators who are inspired by or motivated by sidereal space, as well as for sensitive people, who consider art to also be a science that expresses its own perceptions. All those who are moved by or fascinated by art will feel welcome.

6) The gallery/shop will be a hub displaying COSMICART products: T-shirts, accessories, exclusive and limited-label wines (including champagne), etc. The overall intention is to convey the COSMICART state-of-mind.

7) Every COSMICART center will be a showroom exhibiting art items and creative ideas. At the headquarters center everything will be custom-conceived. Commissioned work will start from logo graphics and go through urban construction. The commercial management could be entrusted to a competent company, but as far as the concept is concerned, an advisory board will supervise. These ideas are only the tip of the iceberg; this unique art chain could start in Sayulita, New York, Canada, California, Argentina, Mexico, Moscow, Tel-Aviv, or Paris (subject to partner negotiation).
