Melinium Action For Tolerance
posted June 4 2009

At his monumentous speech in Cairo, Egypt, President Barrack Obama spoke about the peaceful coexistence between the different cultures with the message and emphasis of TOLERANCE. This is the keyword to the peaceful and productive and interactive existence of our world’s population.

We at COSMICART ASSOCIATION launched a millennium action through an official letter which was delivered to the US Consul in Guadalajara on April the 8th, 2009. In this open letter we invited the US president and his administration to contribute by a commitment to erecting one of the 12 Monuments of Tolerance in the United States.

With the current evolution of outreach and call for acceptance, of all people, we are appealing to the world consciousness to support the erection of the first of those Monuments somewhere between the 3 countries: Egypt, Israel and Jordan with the strong determination and conviction that Art & Culture possesses the power to catalyze the shared understanding, communication and passion of improving life conditions for all human beings.

The project submitted to the United Nations is currently under development with the Government of Mexico, the town of Jerusalem, Puerto Vallarta and the CUC University. The project consists of enacting an official Day of Tolerance in the World.
